Sam is a UK based artist and printmaker, specialising in lino and screenprint and enjoys the methodical processes of creating the image through to producing limited runs of original prints. Drawing is an essential part of my artistic practice. When drawing I love accidents, they should be embraced as they are all part of the drawing’s development. Text is integral, helping me to document the moment in time through sights, sounds and thoughts as the image develops. Sam is an exhibiting member of both Reading Guild of Artists and Print @ the Park, and a studio artist with Jelly, Reading.   Read More →

Inspired by the resurgence in the atelier movement and Classical Realism, Mick works predominantly from life. Regardless of the subject matter; a charcoal figure study, a portrait, or a plein-air landscape in oils, the process and the resulting piece rely primarily on observation and expressive mark making. Agata presents the dynamic of life in the city in her watercolour paintings. I try to capture atmosphere, mood, light, colour and obviously people who are in the middle of my artwork. Painting with watercolour is an illusion, spectacle where I create the story, catch the feelings and stop the audience for a moment to pass over emotion, optimism, warm atmosphere or even mysterious moments.
